GAMMEX rmi® was incorporated in 1969 to manufacture laser-based patient alignment devices, Gammex later acquired Radiation Measurements Inc. (RMI) in 1987. The combined talents and resources of GAMMEX rmi® expanded quality control offerings to include ultrasound, diagnostic radiology, and mammography.
For over 34 years, Gammex rmi has set the pace in global leadership for quality control programs in diagnostic imaging and radiation oncology. Currently, two of its phantoms are used as accreditation standards for CT and mammography programs.
